Generic Lot Type

Do you have generic lot type?
Actually my case is like this : after I downloaded and put a lot from a website, my lot type from residential changed to generic..

Actually i wanted to hold an event there.. but after i chose travel, i couldn't find this lot to visit..

So, i went to that lot and wanted to see what happened.. the lot type was generic..

After I tried many things such as :
1. Change lot type, it's not working.. the options became gray and unavailable to change..
You just can see "disabled for special venues"

Usually, you can change it in build mode..
2. I tried to bulldoze this lot and put another lot (residential) to change the lot type.. but it still remained generic..
3. I tried to move my sim here.. still generic

I googled to find how to solve, but they don't know how to clear this issue..
I found a cheat to change lot type..

This was not working with me : EnableLotLocking true
Maybe you want to try if this is really work or not..

They say to use my old save files to play.. argh.. i don't have my old files with me.. never use save as.. always save.. and if i do have old files, i don't want to rollback.. ｡･ﾟﾟ･(>д<)･ﾟﾟ･｡

I googled again and I found a site that tell me to buy this place as a retail and it worked for him/her..

So, my sim called to buy this place as a retail..
And... ta-daaaaa... this lot type became retail and i can change lot type.. finally ๐·°(৹˃̵﹏˂̵৹)°·๐
